What we do
Every project starts with an honest walkthrough and a written scope, so you know exactly what's being prepped, what products are going on, and what "done" looks like.
Walls, ceilings, trim and doors with clean lines and an even sheen. We protect floors and furnishings, repair drywall dings before we paint, and leave every room the way we found it, only better.
On exteriors, prep is everything. We clean, scrape, sand, caulk, fill and prime, then apply durable exterior coatings only inside the product's temperature and weather window, so your finish can stand up to Colorado sun and freeze-thaw.
Kitchen cabinets, vanities and interior doors, painted or stained (including gel-stain refinishing) for a factory-smooth look without the cost of replacing them.
Greyed, sun-beaten wood brought back to life. We clean and brighten the wood, then apply quality stain to protect it. The sooner wood is treated, the longer it lasts.

How we work
Our crews follow written procedures aligned with Painting Contractors Association (PCA) industry standards, so quality isn't left to chance.
We walk the project with you, answer questions and put the scope in writing: surfaces, prep level, products and colors. No surprises.
Before any paint is opened, we inspect and photo-document each area: peeling, chalking, water stains, cracks, bad drywall. If a surface isn't ready, we don't paint over it.
Floors, furniture and landscaping get covered. Then we clean, scrape, sand, feather edges, caulk and spot-prime, doing the prep level your surface actually needs.
Products are applied per the manufacturer's technical data sheet, with no freestyle thinning. We check temperature, humidity and dew point, and we don't coat outside the product's window.
Work is checked at set stop points (prep, primer, finish), judged the PCA way: about 3 feet away, under finished lighting, for even color, sheen and coverage.
We walk the finished job with you and build a specific punch list. Our touch-ups are handled before final payment, so you're happy before we call it done.
Tape and debris gone, leftover paint labeled by room, color and sheen, plus a simple care sheet and your 3-Year Workmanship Warranty certificate.
Peace of mind, in writing
Colorado's summers and winters are hard on a finish, so we put our workmanship in writing for three years.
Plain-language summary only. Covers workmanship, not materials (manufacturer warranties pass through to you) or things like damage by others, moisture or structural issues, normal weathering and fading, or lack of maintenance. Requires the project to be paid in full. Your signed warranty certificate governs.

Miracles by Motion Painting Co is a locally owned and operated painting company serving Grand Junction and Western Colorado.
We handle interior and exterior painting, staining, fences and decks, and power washing, with clean workmanship, clear communication, and a three-year workmanship warranty behind every project. We show up on time, protect your home, and leave the finish looking like it belongs there.
